designing a logo for a friend's podcast
I was commissioned by my friend to design a logo for a podcast she was starting on the topic of Seerah (the autobiography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The logo was supposed to embody the goal of the podcast, which was to teach Seerah to listeners in a fun and engaging way.

To get a better idea of the requirements, I looked through some of the team’s initial sketches. I had the idea of combining a crescent moon (a symbol of Islam) and a podcast mic in a creative way, and came up with several ideas.
The final design was green and white, also colors traditionally associated with Islam. I used a flat vector style and calligraphy to create an overall modern and playful look.
